My mother passed away at age 90 and left me with a house in central Florida, and I live 500 miles away in South Carolina. The house was run down after many years of neglect and needed far more work than I was willing, or able to do. I got an appraisal so that I knew approximately what it might be worth if I put some money into it. About that time, I became aware of Local Home Investment and gave them a call.
